Directorate Activities

DAPQAR liaises regularly with NUC on behalf of the University. The directorate also performs the following activities:

  • Collection of relevant data from within and outside the university to promote the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Collation and co –ordination of information on the conduct of research and staff development.
  • Maintenance of a data bank of statistics on all the facets of the university.
  • Coordination of the preparation for accreditation of academic programmes of the university.
  • Provision of technical assistance in the planning and development of the curriculum of academic programmes.
  • Preparation of the Annual University System- Wide Audit Report Meeting (USARM) documents for the National Universities Commission (NUC) and attendance at USARM.
  • Regular compilation and analysis of relevant information for the consumption of the consumption of the university management (i.e. Management Information System, MIS), external agencies such as the National Universities Commission and individual researchers in need of information.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the Vice Chancellor
