The attention of the Management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED), Ijagun, has been drawn to the fraudulent activities of scammers impersonating the University or its officials.
These fraudsters are sending out fake Requests for Quotations for the supply of laptops, ICT hardware, and other contract items. Please be informed that these requests are fake and do not originate from the University.
The public, contractors, and vendors are urged to note the following:
1. TASFUED follows strict procurement procedures. All genuine requests, tenders, or expressions of interest are published on our official website or in national dailies.
2. Do not reply to suspicious emails, texts, or letters. Always verify any procurement correspondence directly with the University’s procurement unit or the Registrar’s office.
3. The University will not be held responsible for any financial loss or damages incurred due to transactions with these scammers.
Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious procurement requests to the security unit.
