Prof. Adekunle Olanrewaju Adeogun – Ag. Vice Chancellor
Prof. Adeogun, a Professor of Health Education & Promotion, with more than 20 years of lecturing experience attended the Methodist Primary School, Ogbe, Abeokuta and later attended the Macjob School of Commerce, Onikolobo, Abeokuta for his secondary Education.
He later obtained the Teachers Grade Two Certificate from the Divisional Teachers College, Ayetoro.
His zeal for further education took him to the then Ogun State College of Education where he obtained the Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE), in 1990. His love for further education made him proceed to the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State for his Bachelor’s Degree in 1995, the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago Iwoye for his Master in Education and later his Ph.D. from the Prestigious University of Ibadan in 2008.
He joined the services of the then Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State on 1st October,1999 as a Lecturer III and rose through the ranks till October, 2016 when he became a Professor. He was also the dean, College of Science and Information Technology (COSIT) and was appointed the Deputy Vice Chancellor.
Prof. Adeogun has over 60 scholarly publications to his credit.
Until his recent appointment, Prof. Adeogun was the Deputy Vice Chancellor.
