The University Motto is Integrity and Selflessness with the University colours being Gold, Blue, Green and Black symbolising the following:
Gold – Represents the precious, priceless and everlasting nature of education.
Blue – stands for the flowing river of Ogun from which the state derives its names.
Green – stands for vegetation and agriculture for which the state is repute. The petals made of green further depict productivity and re-productivity of the vegetation which the teachers and trainers are expected to exhibit.
Black – is the black race and culture
Scroll – is for the flow of knowledge from generation to generation.
Acronym TASUED: stands for Tai Solarin University of Education.
Shape of the Acronym: The rhombus reflects the four major divisions of the State, facing up reflects growth and development.
