TASUED PG COLLEGE HOLDS SCREENING EXERCISE FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS

The College of Postgraduate Studies,Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) recently organised a screening exercise for newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The event, aimed at verifying the credentials of incoming students, underscores the Institution’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards.

Speaking at the event, the Provost of the College, Prof. Femi Fatade, urged students to actively participate in the screening process and ensure that all required documents are submitted and verified.
He emphasised that the College would not hesitate to withdraw admission granted to any candidate whose credentials cannot be authenticated, reiterating the Institution’s dedication to upholding integrity and excellence.

“TASUED PG College is committed to meeting International standards in its programmes, and this screening exercise is a crucial step in that direction,” Prof. Fatade stated.

He further advised students against submitting original credentials, clarifying that only copies are required for the process. He also assured students who might be missing certain documents during the screening that they would have an opportunity to provide them at a later date.

The screening exercise was conducted by representatives from various Colleges within the University.

The College of Humanities was represented by Dr. Erinosho and Dr. K. P. Amore, while the College of Science and Information Technology (COSIT) was represented by Dr. Sebiomo.
The Deputy Provost, Prof. A.O. Simisaye, was also in attendance, among other officials.

The event highlighted the Institution’s efforts in ensuring a seamless and transparent admission process while fostering an environment of academic excellence.
