TASUED Ag. VC RECEIVES AWARD FROM INFORMATION MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS

The Ag. Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Prof. Wole Banjo has expressed delight for counting him worthy of an award bestowed on him by the Governing Board of the Association of Applied Information Management Professionals (AIMP) at his office recently.
Prof. Wole Banjo expressed his happiness while receiving the award noting that the award had further solidified his trust in the dynamic leadership of the Association, with an assurance that he would be more committed in the membership drive of the professional body within and outside the University.
Prof. Banjo further assured the Governing Board that he won’t disappoint the Association at every point in me. “AIMP is an Association I really love”, he added.
Speaking during the visit, the President and Chairman of the Council, Dr. Dejiafuye Omotola commended the Vice Chancellor for creating time for the courtesy visit, despite his tight schedule. He also thanked the Ag. Vice Chancellor for associating with the body and the support extended to AIMP by the TASUED Community.
Dr. Omotola also urged the Management to extend their hands of partnership to the Association, more importantly, in area of training.
The Registrar of the Association, Mr. Abayomi Aguloye said AIMP is the pacesetter in the application of information management operation in Nigeria.
He further disclosed that the Association has leveraged on the maximum use of information technology
resources in delivering world-class training and certification of professionals.
The plaque of award was later presented to the Ag.Vice Chancellor by a former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University and the Vice President of the Association, Prof. Joseph Olusoga Olusanya.
Other personalities at the award presentation includes Prof. Kayode Ijaduola, Dr. Lawal, Prof. Oludele Awodele, Dr. Adedamola Siyanbola, Dr. Adewoga, Mr. Afolabi Idowu and Mr. Oyenuga Ayodeji amongst others.
