TASUED PHASE 1 HOUSING SCHEME DEBUT

In fulfilment of his avowed promise of creating conducive working and living conditions for members of Staff of the University, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wole Banjo recently gave allocation leers for blocks of flats to beneficiaries.

The Vice-Chancellor while handing over the leers to the beneficiaries disclosed that he was happy that the dream conceived is coming to reality within a short me.

He gave kudos to the committee in charge of the TASUED Housing Scheme headed by Prof. Adekunle Adeogun for actualising the Housing Scheme, expressing his belief that with adequate Housing there will be a relief from the problem of landlords who arbitrarily increase rent under stringent conditions.

Prof. Banjo, however, warned beneficiaries not to default on the mortgage payment to TASUED Microfinance Bank, so that others can enjoy the Housing Scheme.

He further called on Members of Staff who are yet to register to do so immediately.

In his remarks, the Chairman of TASUED Housing Scheme, Prof.Adekunle Adeogun commended the University Management for its commitment to continually improve on Staff welfare.

“We are particularly grateful for the level of support and commitment the Acng Vice Chancellor,Prof Banjo has shown in ensuring that this scheme is a huge success”,Prof Adeogun added

15 Members of Staff were given their leers of allocation for the building situated within Oba Sikiru Adetona Estate, Ilese -Ijebu, a 2km drive to the Ijagun Main Campus of the University.

The Housing Scheme consists of various categories which includes one-bedroom apartment, two- bedrooms and three- bedrooms apartments.
