AWUJALE EXTOLS TASUED GIANT STRIDES

The Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu-land, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Olukayode Sikiru Adetona has extolled the giant strides of the nation’s Premier and Preferred University of Education, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun.

Oba Adetona gave the accolade while receiving the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwole Banjo at his private residence recently when the later paid him a courtesy visit.

“TASUED has continually been doing the nation and the State proud with the outstanding performances of its Alumni in various facets of life, an evidence of their good background”, the Paramount Ruler noted.

While pledging his unflinching support to the University, the Royal father further added that the good people of Ijebu-land would always do all within

its powers to ensure that TASUED remain the truly Preferred University of the 21st Century.

Earlier, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wole Banjo acknowledged the contributions of the Royal father to the Education Sector. He noted that

the University appreciates his fatherly role and continual support.

On the Acting Vice-Chancellor’s entourage were the Acting University Bursar, Mr Oluwabunmi Abdullah; Dr Taofiq Salisu of the Department of Library and Information Science and the Chairman, Board of Trustees TASUED Central Mosque and Islamic Centre Project, Engr. Hameed Femi Omotayo among others.
