OGUNDEJI BECOMES TASUED FIRST INDIGENOUS CSO, AS MANAGEMENT CONFIRMS ADENUBI & OMOYELE

The Management of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Moses Ogundeji as the University Chief Security Officer, thus becoming the first Indigenous Chief Security Officer of the University.

It also confirmed the appointments of Dr Ademola Adenubi as the substantive Director, ICT while Mrs Adebola Abosede Omoyele is now the Principal, TASUED Secondary School, TASUESS, Igbeba.

Dr. Ademola Olaide Adenubi is an accomplished ICT Professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the private and public sector. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2004), a Master’s Degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Nottingham, UK (2008), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of South Africa (2022). Dr. Adenubi joined TASUED in 2011 and has progressively advanced through the ranks, serving as Deputy Director ICT in 2014 and Acting Director ICT until his recent confirmation. He has significantly transformed the University’s ICT Center.

He is also the founder of the Technology-Assisted Education Management System (EduTAMS).

Dr. Moses Ogundeji is a security expert and has been an integral part of TASUED since January 2006 when he joined as an Assistant Security Officer. He rose through the ranks to become the Assistant Chief Security Officer (ACSO) in October 2021 and was serving as Acting Chief Security Officer prior to his confirmation.

Ogundeji holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from TASUED.

He belongs to numerous professional bodies including, Institute of Criminological Studies Security Management,(ICSSM), the Institute of Security Nigeria,(ISN) and Associate Fellow, Institute of Strategic and Human Resources Management, Nigeria amongst others.

His rich experience cut across all the University Security Departments, including the Security Aide to the first and second Vice Chancellors of the University.

Mrs. Omoyele Adebola Abosede holds a B.Ed. in English from Tai Solarin University of Education (in affiliation with UI, 2003) and has been with TASUESS since 2005. She has held several key positions, including Head of the Department of Languages, Vice Principal for Academics (2018-2021), Vice Principal for Administration (September-December 2021), and Acting Principal since December 7, 2021.

Under her leadership, she has implemented innovative academic programs that have improved student performance and engagement.
