In furtherance of the earlier news release by the university that students should vacate the campus by Wednesday february 22nd a d resume on Tuesday MArch 14th 2023, the management at its meeting held today Monday, 20th February 2023 also directed that the university be temporarily closed on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th February. This decision was taken to allow staff make necessary travel arrangements to participate in the coming national elections slated for Saturday 25th February 2023. Staff are expected to resume for duties on Monday 27th February 2023.
Meanwhile, members of the academic staff have been graciously granted the permission to proceed on part of their 2023 annual leave for a period of Three weeks effective from Monday 27th, February, 2023.
