The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adekunle Olanrewaju Adeogun is the 5th Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University.
Prof. Adeogun, a Professor of Public Health Education, with more than 20 years of lecturing experience, attended the then Ogun State College of Education where he obtained Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE), in 1990. His love for further education made him proceed to the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State for his Bachelor’s Degree in 1995, the Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye for his M.ED in 2003, and his Ph.D. from the Prestigious University of Ibadan in 2008.
He joined the services of the then Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State on 1st October ,1999 as a Lecturer III and rose through the ranks till 1st October , 2016 when he became a Professor.
Prof. Adeogun has over 50 publications to his credit.
