The Management of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State has appointed Prof. Oluwagbemiga Olufolahan Oworu as the new Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies.
Prof Oworu, a Professor in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education is a specialist in Sports Administration and Management and a graduate of the University of Benin where he also obtained a Master’s Degree.
In 2008, he bagged a Doctorate Degree from the University of Ibadan with a specialisation in Sports Administration.
The erstwhile Chairman, TASUED Teaching Practice Board, was at various times the Managing Editor of Journal of Science and Information Technology (JOSIT), Dean, College of Science and Information Technology (COSIT), Principal, TASUED Secondary School, TASUESS, Igbeba and Director, TASUED Human Resources Centre, (TAHUREC).
His appointment takes effect from 4th, January 2022.
