PROFESSOR OLUWOLE BANJO BECOMES TASUED NEW DEPUTY CHANCELLOR 
 
The Governing Council of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Oluwole Sikiru Banjo as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University. 
 
The new Deputy Vice Chancellor succeeds Prof. Abayomi Adelaja Arigbabu who was recently appointed as the 1st indigenous and 4th  Vice Chancellor of the Institution. 
 
Prof. Banjo has M.Sc in Animal Science; M.Sc in Wildlife Ecotourism and Master's Degree in Personnel Psychology. He has a Ph.D in Wildlife and Ecotourism Management from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. 
 
He was until his appointment, the Dean, College of Vocational and Technology Education (COVTED). The new Deputy Vice Chancellor served in several capacities in the University which include Dean, College of Science and Information Technology  (COSIT). Prof. Banjo is a member of several committees, such as Postgraduate Committee, Development Committee, University Senate among others. He is also a recipient of several awards and laurels.
 
He belongs to many professional associations, these include Beekeeping Association of Nigeria  (BAN), Nigerian Society of Animal Production, Grasscutter Production and Management Science of Nigeria, Ecotourism Society of Nigeria (ASSN) and Resource Personnel Centre for Bee Research and Development among others.
