A philosopher once said that "gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others". This came to fore recently as members of staff of the University's ICT Centre came together for a thanksgiving and end-of-year cocktail held at the Ijagun campus of the University.

The programme which was attended by the Management team of the University, Deans of Colleges, Directors of Centres as well as both members of the Muslim and Christian communities of the Institution also witnessed the highlight of stewardship of the Centre for the 2015/2016 academic session.

According to the Director of the Centre, Mr. Ademola Adenubi, the thanksgiving was inevitable because the ICT Centre is such a sensitive sector of the University. He noted that there is no Unit or Department that does not have one business or the other to transact with the ICT Centre. "We've been connecting other units and departments in the University together in order to boost productivity in the Institution.Infact, units like Bursary, PG School, Admissions Office, Registry, CENVOS, CEPEP and Public Relations among others have been partners in progress to the ICT Centre but we must be able to appraise where we were; where we are and therefore connect the two in order to perform better in 2017", he added.

Mr. Adenubi further linked multifarious achievements of Centre to the cooperation of its members of staff, who are committed and dedicated to the cause of TASUED.

The Chairman of the occasion and Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu commended the ICT Centre for its outstanding performance with the challenge that the Centre should improve on its services in the year 2017.

Other dignitaries at the thanksgiving include the Ag. Registrar, Mr. F.O Odutuga; Bursar, Mr. I.O Odusanya; Dean of Postgraduate School, Prof. J.O. Olusanya; Admissions Officer, Azeezat Adebowale and Director of CENVOS, Dr. Omolade Akinsanya among other notable personalities.
